Form Helpers Anonymous

Blog Post created by John Ege Employee on Sep 30, 2016

One of the most consistent requests I see is people needing help with is completing forms. I have a masters, and I struggle with forms. So, what I would like to do is gather a team of form experts and we start a new business: FORM HELPERS! And we'll just help people fill out forms.

Who wants to join me? I have no clue how to do it or to even fill out the forms to start a new business and get that first loan to start doing it, but it's definitely a need. And this is a much better idea than that last one I had where I was going to build a spaceship, go to the moon, salvage all the junk we left up there, bring it back, and sell it. (I put together a team, an ex astronaut, a fuel expert, and we went to the moon...) No, wait a minute. That wasn't me. That was Andy Griffith. And though the first episode was alright, they only put three episodes out. And it was probably a good call.  Not like that time I refused to let Firefly come back for a second season. Now that one I should have let run at least two more seasons.

Wait a minute! I didn't do that either. But I would have brought it back if I had figured out how to fill out the forms and file them! Argh! these forms.

What happen to a paperless society? Why can't I have all the pertinent life information on a credit card and I just swipe the card and everyone's forms get filled out appropriately. Why can't we have 'ONE form to rule them all?!' I might actually be employed as a counselor with the VA if I only could figure out if I'm adding the Z401, cross the 56, unless the supplemental 22b says push the 9aq, except Tuesdays, when the alternative cross elimination cancels out subparagraph...

And how much money would the IRS save if they simplify the tax code to one post card, as opposed to the volumes of tax codes to shift through? "Did you earn money?" if yes, pay x, if no, try again next year, good day! And by God, if corporations are now people, I expect a 'yes' to that last question, even if you pocketed it over seas.

Seriously, anyone want to form a form company?

(PS, aren't you glad this rant/request didn't go on for like 32 pages? That version is available, but you submit your forms now.)
