My Moment of Impact

Blog Post created by 3775213 Administrator on Apr 3, 2017

My "moment of impact" occurred during a recent music program when a hospice resident who is no longer able to speak began singing the words to "Bye, Bye Blackbird."

As part of our Relias Gives Back program this year, employees are visiting local clients offering free car washes or chair massages to their employees as a way of saying "thank you" for the hard work and dedication they show each and every day to your residents.

Employees at Woodland Terrace enjoyed cake pops, car washes while our own music therapist, Kate Geouge led a sing along for their memory care and assisted living residents.  The day was filled with music, dancing and lots of memories.  It was so rewarding to see residents with memory care begin singing along to the words they remembered from long ago.
