Surveys are a little different from courses. There are two different types of automatic survey assignments:

  1. Orientation
Orientation surveys are based on hire date.  They can be assigned to all users, or only to a subset based on user profile filters (e.g. all case managers working in the adult housing facility on Main Street).

Orientation surveys are open ended and do not need to be closed for reporting purposes. Once activated, the surveys are automatic for all new hires meeting the enrollment criteria.
  1. Standard
Standard Surveys are based on a set date and remain open until a specified close date. Standard surveys must be closed to view results.  This can be accomplished manually by an administrator or automatically on the pre-defined date.

A survey that enrolls all users at the Main Street location would automatically be applied to any employee employed at or transferring to Main Street during the open dates.
