The Detailed View of this report displays demographics information for individual learners. The Summary View shows numbers and percentages of learners assigned to each major filter. This report is best utilized when you need to see which learners are missing key data such as department or email.
If you have not already reviewed the training materials on Functions Common to Most Reports please do so before continuing with this report.
Section 1: Filter By Hierarchy allows you to filter your report based on hierarchy levels. If you wish to run the report for all Learners, leave this field blank.
Section 3: Filter by User Attributes allows you to filter which learners will be included on the report. To run the report for all Learners, leave these fields blank.
Section 3: Report Output allows you to set additional parameters for how your report will run. First, you can choose if you wish to run your report for Summary or Detailed View.
- Summary View - Shows the number and percentage of Learners that are assigned to each major demographic filter.
- Detailed View - Shows the individual demographic assignments for each Learner. It gives the Learner's name, username, organization and active status. Choosing Detailed View also allows you to add optional columns to your report.
And lastly, you will need to specify your date range. For this report, the date range pulls from the date that the Learner was added/registered on your Relias site. Once your report is customized, scroll back to the top of the page and click "Run Report."
Below is an example of a User Demographics report run for Summary View. To view number and percentages for each demographic, click the "+" next to the title to expand the view.
