Types of Survey Questions

When creating or editing an Employee Feedback Survey, there are five question types you can choose.

Please view Creating a New Survey (EFS) or Editing a Standard Survey for more information, if needed.

Scaled Response

The Scaled Response options include Likert 5-point scales (agreement, frequency, importance, likelihood, quality) or a general 10-point scale. The 10-point scale allows you to create a scale for any item for which you may want to rate. There is no limitation on the subject of the question other than it can be scaled from 1-10.

Type the question into the box. Choose the type of scale you would like to use. Check whether you would like to require a response to the question. Check whether you would like to save the question to the question bank. The question bank will save questions for later use and will be helpful if you think you will be using them on a regular basis.

If you choose, you can map the response to a Key Performance Indicator. The Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) help to measure the staff’s view of the company by breaking the questions up into groups. The KPIs are an integral part in the reporting tool. Choose from the standard options (Your Job and Role, Management Effectiveness, Rewards and Recognition, Training and Development, Overall Company Culture) or create your own. Click Save.

*The responses to these questions will be included in the KPI report.
