Key Performance Indicator (KPI) Comparison Report

This report will allow you to review completed Employee Satisfaction Surveys or Orientation Surveys by comparing scores in the designated Key Performance Indicator (KPI) areas. The KPIs were designated during the survey creation process. Standard surveys have KPIs assigned to each question.


Please note: You cannot run this report until at least one day after the assignment close date.

From the Survey Reports tab, click on Key Performance Indicator Comparison Report.

Select a Survey

Select your survey title from the drop down. Click on the Standard radio button for a standard survey and Orientation for an orientation survey. Check the Overall KPI box if you would like to be able to export on all groupings (job title, hierarchy, department, etc.) at one time.

Select Close Date(s)

Select one or more assignment close dates.

Select a Focus Group(s)

You must choose a hierarchy to run the report on. You can choose one or multiple, but 10 or fewer is recommended. Choosing a parent hierarchy level will also run data for relevant child levels.

Select KPI(s)

All five standard KPIs are selected by default. You can delete the KPIs you are not interested in, and add custom KPIs if you wish.

Run the Report

Once you have all parameters selected, click Go.

The report may take several seconds to render.


A bar graph represents the data selected. Each bar represents the average KPI for the selected grouping. You can change the grouping you wish to see by clicking Select Grouping. The grid at the bottom of the report provides the same information in a different format.

Export/Print the Report

To print the report, right click on the chart. Click Print. This will print the graph and grid exactly as they are shown.

To export the report to Microsoft Excel, click Export. Choose the information you would like to export. If you checked the Overall KPI box, you can export all data for all groupings. You can click Export entire dashboard to export everything including the data grid. Click Finish.

Choose where you would like to save the report in your files. Click Save and open the report from your folder.
