Course Updates

For information about upcoming updates to courses, when courses are scheduled to be archived, and which courses will replace them, go to Training & Enrollment > Modules & Enrollment > Course Updates.

 

The Course Updates section of the site will display three reports: New and Coming Soon, Pending Changes to Courses in Your Site, and Archived Courses. Each section can be exported for more details.

 

New and Coming Soon

New and Coming Soon will display upcoming additions to your course library.  Title and Code are listed, in addition to the expected Release date.  If the course will carry any accreditation, the Proposed Accreditation column will indicate this.  You can also click the Export link to export this report into an Excel spreadsheet for easier reading and printing.

 

Pending Changes to Courses in Your Site

 

This document is also available on your Dashboard page, underneath the chart- if you are logged in under the Administrator Role

If any courses are being updated or replaced, those upcoming changes will be indicated in the Pending Changes to Courses in Your Site report.  For each course, you will see two rows.  The original course will be highlighted.  The pending replacement or updates will be indicated in an un-highlighted white row directly beneath the original.  You will see the Title listed first, then the Course Code, followed by the Accreditations a course carries and its Credit Hours.  The Change Date is the date when the Updated course will replace the Original.  You can also see if the original course is currently in use in your site by looking for a check-mark in the In Use column.

 

Information listed in the white row will replace the information listed in the highlighted row on the listed Change date.  On that day, all current instances (incomplete enrollments and any modules currently part of a training plan) of the original course will be replaced in your site by the updated course.  You can also Export this information into an Excel spreadsheet.

 

Archived Courses

 

Sometimes, Relias must archive and remove from use certain courses in the site.  Courses that must removed, or Archived, will be listed here, along with the Archive Date.  The Training Plans field will indicate how many curricula currently contain that course.  Enrolled indicates the number of learners enrolled into that course.  If a replacement has been suggested by our Content team, it will be indicated under the Suggested Replacement field.
