Administrators can now create Guest Instructors. Guest Instructors are not users of the RLMS (they cannot log into the site, manage information, or complete modules), but they can be listed as an Instructor for a Live Event (Creating a Live Event). This ensures that the Guest Instructor’s name and signature can properly show on a Live Event certificate for the sessions she/he leads, but she/he cannot manage any details of that Event/session.
In order to add a Guest Instructor, go to Training & Enrollment > Modules & Enrollment > Guest Instructors:
Simply click +Add to add a new Guest Instructor:
Then, enter the First Name and Last Name of the Guest Instructor. You can input any Credentials you wish to be recorded in the system, as well as an Email Address. You then have the option of uploading a signature image file. If you use this, the signature will appear on any certificates which might display the Guest Instructor's name. The signature file can be any image file type, but should be in a 3:1 ratio, e.g., 150 x 50 pixels.
When you have entered this information, simply click the Save button and the Guest Instructor will be available to select for your sessions. You can return to the Guest Instructor List at any time to edit or modify any existing Guest Instructors.
