Attendance Status

This report allows you to view detailed attendance status information by Learner for all event sessions in which a Learner has a recorded attendance status.

If you have not already reviewed the training materials on Functions Common to Most Reports please do so before continuing with this report.

Access this report by going to Reports >

Section 1: Filter By Hierarchy allows you to filter your report based on hierarchy levels. If you wish to run the report for all Learners, leave this field blank.


Section 2: Filter By Events allows you to filter and run the report for an individual Event, or multiple events. To add a module, click on the + Add Events button. In the new window that appears, check the boxes next to the names of the modules that you wish to run the report for, and click the Add button. To run the report for all Events, leave Section 2 blank.

Section 3: Filter by User Attributes allows you to filter which Learners will be included on the report. To run the report for all Learners, leave these fields blank.

Section 4: Report Output will allow you to set additional parameters for how your report will run.  The first field, Attendance Status, gives you 4 options.

  • Attended - Select just the Learners who have attended Live Events.
  • Missed - Select just the Learners who did not attend a Live Event, and were not given permission to miss.
  • Excused Absence - Select just the Learners who did not attend a Live Event, but were given permission to not attend.
  • All - Select all Learners regardless of status.


Beneath the Attendance Status,the Indiv./Mult. field gives you access to run the report for all Learners or one individual Learner. You also have the option to show each Learner on a separate page.


The Date Type will allow you to choose Completed to see when the Event was completed, Due Date Range to view Events due within a certain time period, or Session Date to view only Sessions that fall within the range.

Date Range allows you to choose the dates you wish to run the report for based upon the Date Type chosen above. You can choose a preset date range from the drop-down or choose Specify Dates to manually enter your date range.

There is also an Optional Columns drop down that will allow you to add additional information/columns to the report output.

Below is a (partial) example of an Attendance Status report. This report was run for just all Hierarchies to show all Attended statuses with the date range of 9/30/2014 - 3/31/2015.  This report has too many columns to fit on one page for demonstration purposes.
