BrainSparks Utilization Metrics
This report allows you to view utilization metrics on BrainSparks at both the individual module level and learner level. Administrators should run this report when wanting to see utilization rates of BrainSparks on a course by course basis, and also see how well individual learners are performing when answering BrainSparks questions.
If you have not already reviewed the training materials on Functions Common to Most Reports please do so before continuing with this report.
Section 1: Filter By Hierarchy allows you to filter your report based on hierarchy levels. If you wish to run the report for all Learners, leave this field blank.
Section 2: Filter By Courses allows you to filter and run the report for an individual module or group of modules that contain BrainSparks. To add a module, click on the "Add Module(s)" button. In the new window that appears, check the boxes next to the names of the modules that you wish to run the report for and click the "Add" button. To run the report for all modules with BrainSparks, leave Section 2 blank.
Section 3: Filter by User Attributes allows you to filter which Learners will be included on the report. To run the report for all Learners, leave these fields blank.
Section 4: Report Output will allow you to set additional parameters for how your report will run.
- Select Learners - filter the report for a specific learner who has been sent BrainSparks
- Completed Date Range - Select the dates that the learners completed the course that contained BrainSparks. You can choose a preset date range from the drop-down or choose "Specify Dates" to manually enter your date range.
- You can also include trainings added manually by learners
- Optional Columns - Select which demographic filters you want to appear on the output. Use the CTRL key and mouse to select or un-select multiple filters. Please be aware that selecting multiple fields may result in a report that cannot fit on 8 ½” x 11” paper when exported to PDF.
Below is an example of a Brain Sparks Utilization report. This report was run for one user for the date range of January 1st 2018 through August 29th 2018.
