Immediate Improvements for the Learner Experience in the RBT Training Plan
Relias is making immediate technological improvements to the ABA training offerings in response to learner feedback, as well as the evolving technological landscape, specifically regarding Flash on the web. These improvements seek to resolve issues with video playback and content access. One such improvement is the ability for learners to rewind videos. This immediate improvement is scheduled to go live July 2, 2018. This change will not affect learners’ progress in the overall RBT Training Plan. However, if a learner has not progressed all the way through a given course, as of July 2, 2018, they will be prompted to start that individual course from the beginning.
Continued Improvements for the Learner Experience in the RBT Training Plan
These immediate improvements precede a highly anticipated release scheduled for early 2019! On January 2, 2019, we plan to release an updated Training Plan for Registered Behavior Technicians. This revamped RBT Training Plan will provide a more user-friendly platform designed to offer an improved aesthetic and interactive learning experience. The curriculum will be updated to ensure continued fulfillment of all requirements of the new RBT Task list. Following this release, all new users will be enrolled in the new RBT Curriculum, while previously enrolled users will be given the remainder of their completion period to finish their current courses.
In September 2018, we will be able to confirm the new course titles, codes, and course descriptions. Be on the lookout for additional updates soon!
Lastly, a reminder - for optimal viewing experience it is best practice for your organization to meet or exceed the system requirements for the Relias platform. Most notably, ensure you are using an HTML5 compatible browser such as Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge. Below are the system requirements as indicated on the login screen for the RLMS:
