A study referenced by McKnight’s “shows similar educational outcomes when half of hard-to-find clinical hours are replaced with clinical simulation.” From what I can tell, this simulation is using the “dummy” patients and having them made up to show wounds etc, thus providing evidence that situated learning is producing behavioral outcomes.

How far is your organization from using situated learning through story-based learning/case studies and simulations?
