This discussion forum is designated as a place to discuss how community corrections agencies are incorporating blended learning into their training programs. It is also the place where you can ask questions about blended learning and its application within community corrections.
If you aren’t sure about what blended learning is, you can watch a webinar that APPA and Relias Learning produced in the summer of 2014 on Improving Training Outcomes in Community Corrections through Blended and Online Training Solutions.
But, as far as this forum goes…I am interested in what professionals who provide training or oversee training initiatives for community corrections think about blended learning approaches and how you have incorporated blended approaches into training you provide. If the concept interests you, but you haven’t tried it yet, share your ideas and get input from others on how to get started.
So…please start sharing!
